A Real Robot

This was a poster I made for an economics project in high school. The assignment was to come up with a product and try to sell it. My group decided to market a robot called Cinderella. My buddy posed for some shots, sacrificed his dignity, and I did the rest--editing him shamelessly on Photoshop.

Picturing the Other

These are my pictures of Mark for "Picturing the Other." Mark is a cool dude with a darker skin color than my own. For that reason I chose to take his picture for this project. He was gracious enough to allow me to do so. I later repaid him with Laffy Taffy and a half-smoked cigarette.

I thought the hurricane season was over.

This is my first scratch assignment.

This picture is a compilation of wild shapes. The eye is drawn to the black because it contrasts with the lighter colors. Sinc the black is relatively evenly spread around the picture, it draws the eye really to its center. The shapes in the center really consort with each other because of likeness of shade. The black seem to compete because it is so much darker. I like the picture. It wasn't what I was going for, but it reminds me of the ocean.
